Small Hands Big Magic
Hi there, parent of a busy little human 👋
If your days are full of snack requests, toy explosions, and endless “why?” questions — you’re in the right place. Small Hands, Big Magic is a space where I share little ideas for making life with toddlers a bit more fun, a bit more calm, and (hopefully) a lot more magical.
I’m a parent too, and like you, I know what it feels like when your coffee goes cold before you drink it, or when you finally sit down and a tiny voice yells, “Mum! Dad! Come see this!”
Before parenthood, I worked as a Paediatric Nurse and in early learning. But honestly?

Nothing has taught me more than being in the middle of toddlerhood myself. That’s where the real lessons happen — usually while wiping up a spill, trying to get shoes on the right feet, or sneaking in a cuddle before bedtime.
This blog isn’t about doing things “perfectly.” It’s about small wins, little traditions, messy crafts, and those everyday moments that matter more than we think.
Because what really counts isn’t the glitter or the fancy projects. It’s the message our toddlers hear and see:
✨ You are safe.
✨ Your feelings matter.
✨ This home has room for all of you — giggles, tantrums, and everything in between.
Some ideas flop (like the sensory bin that got dumped on the floor in two seconds 🙈). Some ideas shine (like the fort that magically bought us five whole minutes of quiet). I share the ones that brought a spark of joy — not as instructions, but as little “try this if you need a glimmer too.”
Think of this blog as:
- Crafting a toddlerhood, one mess at a time
- Finding wonder between the snack crumbs
- Parenting, play, and the handmade magic in between
- Not perfect. Just present
So welcome — let’s celebrate the chaos, the cuddles, and the little hands that make big magic.
